Information for Authors > Publications

HTS 2022 will lead to three separate publication processes. The papers shown at the workshop and accepted after a peer-review process will be published in:

Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS)

All authors of accepted 2-page digest (oral or poster) will be invited to submit a paper to be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), a peer-reviewed, open-access journal from Institute of Physics Publishing (UK).

The JPCS peer-review process will be organised by HTS 2022 itself. Papers accepted following peer-review are expected to be published online before December 2022.

JPCS papers should be 4-12 pages including all figures and references.

Special Issue of Superconductor Science and Technology (SUST)

In addition, high-quality contributions to the Workshop will be invited to publish in a Focus Issue of Superconductor Science and Technology (SUST) “Numerical Modelling of High Temperature Superconductors 2022”.

The aim of the Focus Issue is to provide a single collection of specifically invited, peer-reviewed, original research papers of outstanding quality that cover the core topical themes of the Workshop. Papers should also fit the scope of the journal.

All invited contributions to the Focus Issue will be expected to report new and original results that are unpublished elsewhere and will be peer-reviewed to the journal’s usual high standard.

The following two categories of contributors will be invited to submit a full paper for consideration to the SUST Focus Issue:

  • Invited speakers,
  • Contributing speakers selected by the International Advisory Board.

Selected authors will be contacted individually. The length of the paper should be about 6 to 15 printed A4 double-column pages.

Special Issue "Research on High-Temperature Superconducting Materials" (MDPI)

Workshop participants whose contributions are related to "Research on High-Temperature Superconducting Materials" are also eligible for a 20% discount to publish in the special issue of Crystals (ISSN 2073-4352). This special issue belongs to the section "Inorganic Crystalline Materials".

All articles published in Crystals are published in full open access. In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management, an article processing charge (APC) of 2000 CHF (Swiss Francs) applies to papers accepted after peer review.
